This project is a partnership between Ashland County Health and Human Services, UW Extension 4-H the City of Ashland Parks and Rec Department, the School District of Ashland, Northland College’s SOEI, Bay Area Rural Transit and many other collaborators. The woodland has developed over the past forty years or so on former paddocks that straddled the embankment of the old Wolverton to Newport Pagnell railway line, which ceased being used in the 1960s and now forms the Milton Keynes Railway Walk (adopted foot/horse/cycle path).The BMX track is located at Pineham, with access off V11 Tongwell Street.
