Our mission is to serve our clients by giving them the best that we have and to do so in a manner which is efficient, effective, and economical.
Bush & Augspurger, P.A. is a Florida law firm with offices in Orlando and Tallahassee. We serve the entire state of Florida. We have appeared pro hac vice and litigated cases in many of the Southeastern United States, as well as the U.S. Virgin Islands, where Mr. Bush is admitted to practice. We specialize in defense of licensed professionals, employers, school leaders and others covered under miscellaneous professional liability insurance policies. Our lawyers are admitted in state and federal courts, including the United States Supreme Court. We handle our own appeals, as well as appeals brought to us on complex matters involving novel issues.
Richard Bush manages the Tallahassee office. He clerked on an appellate court after graduation from law school in 1979. In 1980, he hung out his shingle, and the firm has grown into the professional liability defense firm it is today. Lisa Augspurger graduated from law school in 1991. The daughter of medical professionals, Ms. Augspurger has pursued her passion in defense of medical and allied healthcare providers. She joined the firm in 1996. She manages the Orlando office. Both offices have lawyers who handle E&O, EPL, LPL, A&E, MPL and School Leaders for School Districts and Colleges.
The firm was a third party administrator for a professional liability carrier. We know what it is like to field calls from insureds, receive bills from other counsel, and dedicate ourselves to closing files as quickly and responsibly as possible. We love what we do. Everyone at the firm will tell you this is the last place they are going to work. We enjoy partnering with our clients and claims representatives to analyze the difficulties each faces and devise realistic solutions to their problems. In order to do so, we commit ourselves to an unyielding, aggressive and creative defense.
