Black Trumpet Bistro and Bar reinvigorates the bistro experience. Any review that says otherwise should be discredited forthwith as a gormless idiot. Prices are reasonable for the quality and freshness of the food.
June 4th, 2020! Homey decor is appreciated by guests. This is our favorite restaurant in Brookings, OR. The food here is simply terrific and the pricing is reasonable for finer dining.
There are more salad types than actual meals (7 types of salad and 6 different sandwich/meat options). This restaurant offers great food that is fresh and delicious right in the heart of BRookings, OR.
Inconsistent...Missing the Mark. After moving from the SF Bay Area to Brookings last year, our biggest disappointment is the total lack of fine dining. The menu used to have eggplant entrees and more choices.. Too bad. Google users who visited this restaurant state that the most suitable mark is 4.7.Nice people and Great Tiramisu. We ate at the Black Trumpet last night. And Black Trumpet Bistro has re-opened for business!

This is Brookings!! I think they will do very well and they just opened up this summer. The food we were served is about as good as you need to eat.
The cheerful staff welcomes guests all year round. I ordered blackened fish that was accompanied by pilaf and pineapple mango. At this time they are only open for dinner and evenings...so don't expect to go here for lunch. If you've ever been to, and love, Carson's in Grants Pass, OR then you will no doubt love the Black Trumpet Bistro (BTB) in Brookings, OR. Brookings needs an upscale restaurant, but this just is not cutting it.Wonderful Dinner!. The staff really need to fix the menu and take off all of the escargo entrees and make the portions a bit larger for the price. are we VERY glad we did. I ordered blackened fish that was accompanied by pilaf and pineapple mango. So glad we ordered the fig/walnut/gorgonzola crustini. Both came with fresh veggies.

Black Trumpet Bistro, Brookings, Oregon. We had steamed clams.Despite the options we tried being delicious, the menu was surprisingly small. We almost didn't come b/c we could not find a menu online but wow! All trademarks are properties of their respective owners.
