Fantastic-Documentary well explained on the Robinson's Crusoe's story and myth- The legend behind how this story came about by Daniel Devoe's book based on Alexander Selkirk a British sailor that spent 4 years and 4 months on the Island called Juan Fernandez off the west coast of Chile. I'm sure this isn't a perfect story but then very few actually are. Lambert is good as always. But he encounters a storm in the Caribbean, and his ship is nearly destroyed.

Alexander Selkirk, Scottish sailor who was the prototype of the marooned traveler in Daniel Defoe’s novel Robinson Crusoe (1719). The story begins with a Pirate in search of "El Manila" an incredible treasure. I have no doubt that Selkirk was stranded in the Pacific off the coast of Chile, but Defoe places Robinson Crusoe off the northeastern coast of South America near the mouth of the Orinoco River in the Atlantic, as I have known for many years, so I don't think the other reviewers have ever even read the book. I enjoyed hearing about the history as well as the legend and the most likely finding of Selkirk's meadow encampment. Now several hundred pounds richer, he sails again for Africa but is captured by pirates and sold into slavery. In 1704, the Scottish sailor Alexander Selkirk was banished for mutiny to a lonely Pacific island where he spent the next four years.
